PVL on Tour 2025, babanat na bilang opisyal na pre-season tournament

𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗛

Maglalagablab ang 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) on Tour bilang isang hiwalay na pre-season tournament na bahagi ng 2024–25 season ng liga mula Hunyo 22 hanggang Agosto 16.

Ang PVL on Tour ay ang ikalawang kumpetisyon sa ilalim ng 2024–25 season ng Premier Volleyball League, subalit itinuturing itong pre-season tournament para sa paghahanda ng mga koponan.

Inanunsyo ni PVL president Ricky Palou na layunin ng torneo na tumulong sa paghahanda ng pambansang koponan para sa mga internasyonal na kompetisyon, kabilang na ang Southeast Asian Games sa Thailand.

“This tour is about connecting with our regional fans and helping the national team gear up for bigger battles,” ani Palou.

“It’s also a stage for clubs to evaluate their new recruits and recalibrate strategies before the main season.” dagdag pa niya.

Dating ginagamit bilang marketing label ng mga laro sa labas ng Metro Manila, ngayon ay isinasagawa na ito bilang isang hiwalay na kumpetisyon na may mas malaking coverage sa probinsya.

Una itong nakapaloob sa 2024–25 All-Filipino Conference, ngunit ngayong taon ay magkakaroon ng sariling iskedyul at pormat.

Orihinal na itinakda ang torneo sa Hulyo 2025, ngunit inilipat ito sa Hunyo 22, 2025 upang maisabay sa mas maagang preparasyon ng mga atleta.

Tinatayang 12 koponan ang lalahok sa torneo, na ipapalabas sa pamamagitan ng One Sports, One Sports+, at Pilipinas Live.

Sa pagtatapos ng tour, planong ilunsad ang isang Invitational Conference na dadaluhan ng apat na franchise teams at mga guest foreign teams.

Ang PVL on Tour ay inaasahang magpalawak ng fan base ng liga sa labas ng NCR at magdala ng mataas na kalidad ng volleyball sa mga probinsya.
