Emma Mary Tiglao, representing the Philippines, was crowned as Miss Grand International (MGI) 2025, clinching a back-to-back win for the Philippines on Oct. 18.
Tiglao bested 76 other contestants during the coronation night held at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
Thailand follows her as 1st runner-up, Spain as 2nd runner-up, Ghana as 3rd runner-up, Venezuela as 4th runner-up, and the countries of Colombia, the Czech Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, and Tanzania as 5th runner-up.
Tiglao also bagged the Country’s Power of the Year award, ensuring her spot in the Top 22.
In her winning answer on penalties to dismantle online scammers, Tiglao stressed the use of the power of balance.
“Because one day I hope that we will live in a peaceful world where no one should deceive just to survive,” Tiglao said.
With this international victory, Tiglao becomes the 2nd title holder from the Philippines, succeeding MGI 2024 Christine Juliane Opiaza, who crowned her.
